I'm a fan of the Powerstation too - I saw The Shins do a show there that literally changed my mind on my music tastes; Rise Against blew me away. One of my favourite shows there: Ben Folds on Paper Planes request tour.

Havent yet made it to The Powerstation - now that I've moved up the motu, it's much more accessible that it previously was so hopefully ill make it there soon.

That article you shared from the new yorker rocks. The opening para cut so deep to "One intractable flaw of technological devices: they never actually update overnight as promised." haha. Such a great find - thanks for sharing.
